Joan is one of the co-founders of Doggone Safe. She has trained dogs using positive reinforcement and the clicker for over ten years. She is a Clicker Expo Faculty member and an advisor to the Karen Pryor Academy for Dog Training and Behavior. She is a pioneer in the field of clicker training rabbits and is the co-author of Getting Started - Clicker Training Your Rabbit. In addition Joan has given many seminars on dig bite prevention and is the co-inventor of the family fun board game, Doggone Crazy! as well as the Clicker Puppy DVD. Joan is also a co-founder of TAGteach International a company dedicated to positive-reinforcement teaching with people.

Teresa is one of the co-founders of Doggone Safe. She is a dog behavior consultant who has had a life long interest in animal behaviour. With over 20 years experience, Teresa has trained many different dogs including tracking and protection dogs. However she specializes in rehabilitating dogs with anxiety and aggression issues. She holds dog bite prevention seminars for children and is co-inventor of the family fun board game Doggone Crazy! She is a pioneer in the field of clicker training rabbits and is the co-author of Getting Started - Clicker Training Your Rabbit.

Jen is a dog trainer and certified behavior counselor. She is also a counselor for nursing mothers and a former school teacher. Jen is the owner of Family Paws which provides information, education, and resources about safe interactions between children and dogs. She is the creator of the Dogs and Storks program which educates expectant parents about safety around the family dog. Jen has worked with dogs and kids all her life, and obtained a duo Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Elementary Education at Kutztown University.

Kerry is the mother of a dog bite victim and she came to Doggone Safe in order to help others avoid the trauma that she and her family suffered as a result of a terrible attack on her then 5 year old daughter by a pack of dogs belonging to a neighbor. Kerry has worked with Doggone Safe since its inception, providing support to other parents of dog bite victims and working tirelessly in her own community providing education to school children and the public.
